The Charter Connect 2.0 event was successfully organized on 30th November, 2024, at the R&D Block, Room 736, Christ University. This event brought together thought leaders, professionals, and academicians to discuss pivotal topics in the accounting and finance industry, providing valuable insights to the attendees. A special highlight of the event was that all the participating Chartered Accountants were proud alumni of the BCOM F&A program from the year 2002, adding a sense of nostalgia and pride to the occasion.

The event commenced at 11:00 AM with an Inauguration and Welcome Address, setting an optimistic tone for the day. Father Varghese, CFO of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the critical role of finance professionals in shaping the global economy. This was followed by Prof. Bhavesh Rajani, Program Director of BCOM F&A and Director of BEI, who highlighted the importance of education and innovation in equipping future professionals to excel in a dynamic financial world.
The first address by CA Ghanashyam delved into the ethical challenges and opportunities faced by finance professionals today. He highlighted the significance of maintaining integrity and building trust in a fast-changing financial ecosystem, offering practical advice from his years of professional experience.
